I'm particularly talking to House Republicans. Are there any sane and reasonable moderate Republicans left in the House? The country only needs twenty (20) of you (technically 19, but 20 gives a one vote cushion). You have the power. There are several models you can take.
1) Form a sanity caucus. Be the breakwater for your party and don't let the insanity of the Tea Party swamp the GOP. However, you know that within the GOP you are going to be pummeled. Which leads us to...
2) Form a caucus and switch Party affiliation. If Boehner, Cantor, Ryan et al threaten to continue the insanity of the past two years resign en masse from the GOP. At that point you can stay as independents and caucus with the Democrats making Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the House or you can make the full jump and become Democrats, embracing the sanity that the people of America expect and deserve.
What do you say? Are there ANY? Let me say again; ARE THERE ANY brave, rational and reasonable Republicans out there who can put Country over Party? Are you capable of being as selfless as you ask the men and women of our military to be?

A veteran is someone who at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for the amount of "up to and including my life". That is Honor, and there are too many people in America who no longer understand that.Are you capable of putting you political life on the line the way we ask the members of our military to put their actual lives on the line? Which do you love more? Your country? Or you office?
